Does Avishya have retail stores or shops anywhere?

Yes, we have recently opened our first store in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 281, TTK Rd, Alwarpet (near Old Madras Baking Company)Chennai - 600018. We have been online since 2016 and we can courier to all locations across India and around the world. We source original handloom sarees and other products directly from weavers / weaving societies / designers all over India. What you see on Avishya comes to us from over 20 locations in India.

Do you do international shipping?

Yes. We ship to over 30 countries internationally. US, Canada. UK, EU countries. UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi, other Gulf countries. South Africa. Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and many more.

Is international shipping free? Or is there a shipping cost?

Yes, you can avail FREE international shipping if your order value is above Rs.25,000 (except for very distant or remote countries). But if order value is below Rs.25,000 there will be a shipping cost which depends on the number and type of products in your order. For eg. USA shipping cost per Saree is Rs.1500

Through which couriers do you send your international shipping?

We send our consignments through leading international couriers like Fedex, DHL etc.

What about customs duties or import taxes?

Customs duties or import taxes will be payable by customer as per prevailing local laws of the country and region of port of entry. For more details, you can chat with our customer service associates online.

Do you charge for shipping within India?

No, within India shipping is free for most locations (except for very remote and difficult to reach areas)

What payment instruments are accepted for International orders?

We accept a wide range of international credit cards - Visa, Master, Amex, PayPal, Discover. Also international bank/wire transfers. If you have an operational Indian bank account you could also do a bank to bank transfer to our account.

Which payment instruments are accepted for Indian orders?

We accept a wide range of Visa, Mastercard and Amex credit cards from ICICI, Axis, HDFC, SBI and Bank / NEFT transfers. Also UPI based like G pay, Phone Pe, PayTM etc

Do you accept COD (cash on delivery) orders?

Yes. We accept COD orders for most Pin Codes in India. Please check area eligibility by entering pin code in Checker on product page. COD is not available for International orders

Why am I not allowed to place an international order by COD?

It’s not possible as its against Indian regulations / RBI guidelines

How do you ship your products? Will my package arrive safely?

We ship our products through leading Indian and International couriers. Parcels are packed with top quality packaging material and tamper proof outer covers. Our courier consignments are also fully insured so no worries. You can rest assured that your parcel will arrive safe & secure.

If I place an order today, how soon will you ship out my order?

Normally we ship orders within 7 business days of order date. If a product is not in our Chennai warehouse, and has to come in from a weaving center (or) if blouse/falls stitching and any other customized service is opted by customer, it will take additional days for us to ship the product.

For international destinations, how long will it take to reach me after you ship?

For most international locations our shipments normally reach in 5 to 10 business days. This includes countries like USA, UK, Canada, Gulf, Singapore, Australia. For shipping time to other countries please check with our online customer service staff.

For Indian destinations, how long will it take for shipments to reach?

For most locations within India our shipments reach in 4 to 7 business days.

Why is the shipping time more than 7 days for some products?

Products stored in our Chennai or Kanchipuram warehouses are shipped in 7 days. Some products have to come in from respective weaving center so it takes additional time. Also products that need tailoring like saree blouses, stitched salwars, kurtas etc. take additional time. Check with online customer service staff for estimated shipping times.
