Resist Dyed Sarees Online – Discharge Printing Fabric, Resist Block Printing
Resist dyeing is a traditional method of affixing patterns and designs on fabrics or sarees. Batik, Dabu, Shibori are different types of resist dyeing (also called discharge printing). Material like mud, wax or starch paste are pasted on selected areas of fabric to "resist" or prevent base colour dye applying on entire cloth. After the pasted fabric is soaked in base dye and dried, the resist agent is washed or melted off revealing the beautiful pattern.
